The Ceta-Base website serves as an online database of captive cetaceans (whales, dolphins & porpoises) held in human care around the world. On the Phin'ventory you'll find lists of captive dolphins (excluding killer whales) and porpoises. The inventories are sorted by facility and, on this page, reflect the current living population at any facility listed below. Deceased and Historical inventories are available through the links above or through the individual inventories themselves. All information found on this page can be obtained through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the Marine Mammal Inventory Report (MMIR), organizational press releases, professional journals, internet forums, message boards, and other sources of public information.
